As I reflect back on the research for this week and our resources I found it very important to use Bloom's Taxonomy. This tool is used to categories educational goals. This tool started with memory at the bottom and goes all the way up to create at the top. I think this makes a lot of sense, in order for students to create something they have to remember what they were taught. Apply was in the middle, that's useful information because you need to know how to solve or demonstrate whatever it was that was that you learned.  This is great for teachers to see what they've implemented and how the students have actually learned what it is that they have addressed in class. This technique is very different from how I learned as a child. The teacher taught you a lesson and then she gave you a test on memorization to see how much you learned. Former assessment techniques are important for the educator in each classroom. I think that formative assessments can help you as a teacher with planning to help each student individually and as a group.  It should be used to help you form a better strategy for teaching. If you are better prepared in the class, the time you need to spend will be planned out and use wisely. Those assessments can also help the students see where they may need extra help or where they may need to put in the time to improve on their own. Since we're able to use technology a lot more in the classrooms, the formal assessment apps seem to be great.  I can agree that teachers have so much that they need to cover in a days time, so you need the apps to be easy to use. Since I've been enrolled in technology in education class here at Trinity, I've been introduced to many different tools that I can utilize in my classroom to enhance my students education.  Each one of these tools has been unique in their own way, Twitter has telt me to develop a different type of social media and network with other educators. Google classroom, Adobe's Sparks, Audacity, Flipgrid are just a few of the tools that I have been introduce to. However, Wevideo is a unique way to tell stories digitally. This tool allows you to create your own story and add photos to bring the story to life. I have to agree with the readings, people are more likely to remember events such as stories if they can have a photo of some kind to go along with the story. I have many social media accounts but Twitter, however, was not one. I wasn't interested in using Twitter because I thought it was mostly used for people in the business world or politicians.  I was also aware that celebrities utilize Twitter as well. To me, the major difference was the communication was only through words and not their pictures. However, I was wrong. So after I have been introduced to Twitter from one of my professors, I found it to be very different than what I expected. Twitter has an amazing network of educators. It seems as if it's own small community where they are engaging, building and supporting one another.  I can see the advantages of building a personal learning network through Twitter. As I continue to develop my technology to utilize in the classroom, I'm finding that Google classroom can make your job as a teacher a lot smoother. This tool allows you to eliminate making copies of different worksheets. You can do it all via electronic. Most times teachers have to make several copies of different worksheets, and sometimes double copies because students typically lose a sheet or two. When you use Google classroom you are cutting your time done as well as going green. Less papers mean less trees. Google classroom also has an additional tool, that you can send links for websites you may want the students to read or a lesson you may need them to complete this is called Share To Classroom extension. Teachers can also share information with other teachers with Google Classroom.  These documents the teachers are using are able to be edited by others. As I reviewed the resources for this week I noticed that the ESL classroom would be able to benefit from some those resources.  The advances in technology today is amazing and to think it will only continue. Many of the classrooms are now diverse, which means they are  full of ESL learners.  Our schools have to become equipped to be able to assist those students who do not speak English as their primary language.  One of the ways that classroom teachers can now began to navigate the  ESL learner is by using the Google translator formula in Google sheets.
