Technology in the classroom #3

Since I've been enrolled in technology in education class here at Trinity, I've been introduced to many different tools that I can utilize in my classroom to enhance my students education.  Each one of these tools has been unique in their own way, Twitter has telt me to develop a different type of social media and network with other educators. Google classroom, Adobe's Sparks, Audacity, Flipgrid are just a few of the tools that I have been introduce to.

However, Wevideo is a unique way to tell stories digitally. This tool allows you to create your own story and add photos to bring the story to life. I have to agree with the readings, people are more likely to remember events such as stories if they can have a photo of some kind to go along with the story. This is a great way to allow your students to make their own history projects, or research project using their creativity. I'm a firm believer that you need a tracking system and this digital story is a great way to see if students have understood the different information that has been given to them during instruction.

Wevideo also allows you  The ability to be able to move pictures to add captions and so much more can be done to make your story amazing. You will need to add the voice to the stories your telling. An audacity is a tool that you can record the voice for the digital story. You are allowed to record, stop, play the recording again from where you left off from. You can even listen to the recordings from the start to finish. Even starting over if you made a mistake is an option.  I think these are both tools that will be beneficial in the classroom with helping students develop their creativity and learn how to utilize technology and I different way. It was difficult for me to understand how to create my digital story but the concept map gave me a place to start and I enjoyed tell my piece of history!
