As I reflect back on the research for this week and our resources I found it very important to use Bloom's Taxonomy. This tool is used to categories educational goals. This tool started with memory at the bottom and goes all the way up to create at the top. I think this makes a lot of sense, in order for students to create something they have to remember what they were taught. Apply was in the middle, that's useful information because you need to know how to solve or demonstrate whatever it was that was that you learned.  This is great for teachers to see what they've implemented and how the students have actually learned what it is that they have addressed in class.

This technique is very different from how I learned as a child. The teacher taught you a lesson and then she gave you a test on memorization to see how much you learned. With this tool, you can find different ways to retract the lesson. You may ask the students to do a flipgrid to recall apart of the lesson to see if they understood what you taught. You can also use Constructivist Classroom, you can break the students off into groups and ask them to come up with a list of questions they can ask the class to check for understanding. Constructivist Classroom is when the students are able to reflect or think about what they have just learned but they do it actively.

Here I listed some new school information to help gauge performance in the classroom. But the basic worksheets and test can also go hand in hand with the new school information. I honestly believe that a great teacher finds a way to do both new and old. I can recall learning the old way(Basic). However I wonder if my teacher had some of the technology we have today would I have done even better in my grades. To me the blend is important.
